Edward Ndububa, DiplE., B.Ed., B.ScEE, M.ScE.

President

As the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of SGNT Technologies Inc. and CEO of its associate companies for the past nine years, Mr. Edward O. Ndububa brings over 22 years of senior level management of Telecom, Power System, IP Telephony, and high technology expertise to the organization. Prior to SGNT Technologies, Edward was one of the co-founding engineers of SS8 Networks Inc., a San Jose California High-Tech company with over US$120M in annual revenue, where he held various management positions including Director of Operations, Director of Product Management and Director of Project Management spanning over a number of years. Edward contributed to the initial definition of SS8 Networks business case and assisted in the due diligence process, which led to SS8 Networks' first round of financing for US$10M and second round of US$25M which was oversubscribed.

Prior to SS8 Networks, Edward spent over 10 years at Nortel Networks Corp., then the number one High-Tech company in Canada, where he held various management and engineering positions including product marketing of IP Telephony gateway & access products; product & program management of SS7 hardware products, project management and engineering of SS7 platform and DMS100 products.

Edward holds a M.Sc. in Electronics/ Robotics Engineering from Indiana State University, USA, Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.ScEE), and Bachelor's degree in Technical Education (B.Ed Tech.) from the University of New Brunswick, Canada and a Technology diploma in Electronics Engineering from George Brown College, Toronto, Canada. He is a co-patent holder on "signaling switch for use in information protocol telephony", and has a publication in engineering magazine on HA CPCI.

Edward was also the 2006 recipient of the prestigious Harry Jerome award for technology & innovation from the BBPA of Canada, and is featured in the "Who is Who in Black Canada", and has served in the Board of Directors of three NGO's including serving as the secretary, then VP, then President/Chairman of CANACT from 1993 to 2000.

In 2006, he received an award from the City of Brampton for his Business Achievements & Community Involvement; he is married with three sons and two daughters.

Okwii Modekwe

Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Okwii Modekwe became a director of SGNTT Technologies Inc. in December 2009 and served as executive vice president and chief financial officer since February 2011. From February 2002, Mr. Modekwe was the V. president and chief financial officer of Global Investments Group Canada Inc., a corporation vested in long term ideas through asset allocation and investment strategy, as well as short term tactical opportunities in marketing traditional fixed, indexed and variable financial products and a variety of supplemental in addition to advisory on under-writing where necessary, on insurance products.

He is also an Exe. Vice President and CFO for Saga Logistics Co., Ltd/Saga Worldwide Investment Holdings Ltd HK, Europe and North America. Until joining SGNTT, Mr. Modekwe served as a managing director in the investment financial corporations, specializing in project funding advisory and financing transactions. With sufficient training and vast field exposure, has been principally responsible for the Company’s funding and financial operations since 2010 Mr. Modekwe also serves on the board of directors SGNTT Canada Group of Industries Inc. and has worked in various roles within the SCGI affiliated companies since 2012.

He is a proven financial representative of Merchant Banking Group for North and Sub Saharan African and has been able to engage in the negotiation of Nations Debt relief and Capital re-funding for venturing developing National Infrastructural projects. He has served as a director for inter-government Coordinating project negotiations and has worked in varying roles of increasing responsibility over the years.

Joe Santella

Senior Vice-President & Chief Operating Officer

Joe Santella is a Senior Vice-President in the SCGI Group and COO of the telecom division, and is responsible for all telecommunications activities worldwide. Joe is a seasoned executive bringing 25+ years of progressive leadership experience in business management, global sales, marketing, business development, strategic planning, operations and product development in technology businesses (telecom, wireless, networks, IT, public safety, defence & security and consumer electronics). Joe is an entrepreneurial executive with a successful record of growing businesses, particularly in leading early-stage ventures and emerging businesses, and is known as a builder of business, products and people.

Joe has worked for Bell Canada, Nortel Networks, EADS (European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company) and Roadpost Satcom in various strategic and senior leadership roles. He is a graduate of McGill University and holds a B. Eng in Electrical Engineering.
